No, we’re not all in this together

The price of a politicized pandemic

I think if I hear the Talking Heads on the local 10pm news yap about how “we are all in this together” and how “we will all get through this together” anymore I’m gunna puke.

Wanna see how we are all in this together?  Try watching the daily White House briefings in Real Time for the past month or so.

The Hyena Media is all in this together, that’s for sure: every day is a new adventure in entrapment and “gotcha-ism”.

No, we haven’t “all been in this together” since November 2016.

You see, if “we were really all in this together” there would not have been a knee-jerk reactionary #Resistance driving a wedges between us since The Get Go.

There would not have been a Stormy Daniels/Mikey Avanatti smear job.

Nor a Russian Collusion fictional narrative delivered daily complete with an imaginary Pee Tape.

There would not have be 500+ days of Bobby Mueller.

No Vindeman leaked Whistle-blower Yoo Crane hoax.

No Pencil Neck star chamber, no 100% Donk/0% GOP House impeachment vote.

If we were all in this together Nanzi Pelozi and Cryin’ Chuck wouldn’t have rode The Peechmint Train all the way to the station.

The Speaker of the House would not have torn up the President of the United States SOTU address and flipped it onto the chamber floor.

If we were all in this together the Mainstream Corporate Press, Hollywood and Big Tech would not be pushing Chinese Propaganda about the Chinese Virus.

A country where “we’re all in this together” pulls together after a contentious election and doesn’t defame The Other Side as Nazi Fascist Haters.

Daily, on multiple platforms, for years on end.

So pardon the ‘eff outta me when I have a hard time getting all gauzy-eyed and don’t view this as a Crisis To Good To Waste through a Vaseline-smeared lens.

You don’t suddenly get to walk all that shit back and then say “just kidding, we’re all in this together.”

We’re not all in this together; not by a longshot.

The Left made this bed; enjoy the lumps and dirty sheets as we all lay in it – together…

Bruno Strozek

Written by Bruno Strozek

Bruno Strozek is the author of occasionally semi-coherent piffle and has been a Writer/Editor at Sparta Report since July 2016.

Strozek, along with his alter-egos the decadent, drug-addled Sixties refugee Uncle Bruno and his intolerably feminist SJW Cousin Brunoetta have been riding the not-yet crested wave of deplorability with posts covering politics, sports, entertainment and zombies.

Aptly described as both "hilarious and deeply disturbed" Strozek has enthusiastically embraced the recommendation of the late Raoul Duke that "when the going gets weird the weird turn pro."

Although he has fallen far short of his bucket-list goal of writing for such respectable rags as The National Enquirer and The Weekly World News Strozek is grateful for the opportunity to pen his unhinged screeds at Sparta Report and is constantly amazed and delighted at the reception his pieces receive in the cements.
