Election Day + 18 – No Politics for a Week of Reflection

Our Blessings in America

Over the last three weeks, all of America has been stressed out over the election. And with Covid and the Impeachment, for the entire year. It seems like it has been one thing after another that we have had to deal with in 2020. But as Americans, we carry on no matter what, and do so to the end.

As we enter Thanksgiving week, it is time to take a moment to reflect upon the blessings that we have no matter what we have endured all of this year. After all, we still live in the greatest country in the world, even though we still have to fight to keep it.

Covid has shown the world that America still has the best health care system in the world, when allowed to perform without government interference. And it has shown that our Research & Development is better than anywhere else………when unleashed.

The American “can do” attitude still exists, if we just get out of the way of those who know “how to do.”

The American people overall are still the best in the world. We are the most generous and giving of any country. Anything bad happens around the world and it will be Americans who respond first and with overwhelming aid to assist those in need.

America has the best educational system in the world, even though the Left is trying to dismantle it or change it.

Contrary to what the Left would have you believe, we are still the safest and most secure nation in the world. Yes, we have those who engage in mayhem do to lax laws and penalties, but we also have the Right to Bear Arms and over 400 million firearms (maybe up to 600 million) in the hands of the general public to keep us secure.

America, once again contrary to what the Leftists say, IS the least racist country in the world. Black, White, Hispanic, and Asians all live together in mixed neighborhoods getting along together. They work together with no problem. And mixed marriages are greater than in any other country in the world.

Though Twitter, Facebook and other Leftists try to censor free speech, America still has the right of free speech.  We can say what we want, and if people don’t like it, let them come and try to take it away.

Americans are also secure in our homes. We have protections in law to prevent the abuses of other countries with search and seizure laws.

The American landscape is truly a sight to behold. We have the grandeur of the Grand Canyon and the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, all within a few hours of each other. There are rivers, deserts, more tropical areas in the South, all presenting their own characteristics that will keep the traveler entertained for years. Then there are the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts, with all of their natural beauty.

Like the colors of Autumn, then a trip to the Northeast will provide you with the most beautiful of colors at the leaves turn.

Don’t forget the American Serviceman and First Responders. When there is trouble on the horizon, you can bet that there will be Americans responding to the threat, whether at home or abroad. And they willingly give their lives so that Americans can retain their freedoms.

Finally, don’t forget President Trump, who is fighting for America every day. With him and all the others on our side, we just need to keep fighting and believing to retain the “Great America” we know and love.

So, for this Week of Reflection, don’t let the idiots in the media ruin it for you. Remember our blessings and what we have. After all………

There is no other country like America!
