President Trump has faced more challenges than perhaps any president in modern history. Global pandemics, a massive economic downturn that threatens to become another Great Depression, civil unrest, and the machinations of Democrats desperate to grab as much power as possible. Throughout everything, however, President Trump has worked tirelessly on behalf of the American people.
Perhaps that’s why President Trump’s approval rating in Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll is at 50%:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 43% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -4.
It’s worth noting that President Obama’s approval rating at this same point in his presidency was 47%. President Obama, of course, went on to win re-election against Mitt “Reek” Romney.
President Trump’s numbers in Rasmussen’s daily polling have vacillated between the low 40s and low 50s. Rasmussen has also consistently tracked President Trump’s support among minority voters as around or above 40%. Rasmussen was one of the more accurate polling firms during the 2016 election cycle.
There’s a long way to go until November, but these numbers are definitely encouraging to say the least.
