It’s been almost 24 hours, but the Iowa Democrat party has finally released a portion of the numbers from last night’s caucus.
The results are a bit surprising to say the least.
BREAKING: After nearly 24 hours, the Democratic Party of Iowa has *finally* released some of the results from the #IowaCaucuses
With 62% of delegates reporting:
1.) Pete Buttigieg: 26.9%
2.) Bernie Sanders: 25.1%
3.) Elizabeth Warren: 18.3%
4.) Joe Biden: 15.6%

A couple of points:
- Last night’s numbers confirm that Bernie Sanders did a lot better than anyone expected him to.
- Biden did much worse than anyone expected him to, especially considering he’s long been considered the front runner in this race.
- Mayor Pete jumping out in front of even Sanders is a pretty big surprise. It’s also likely to fuel the rumors that Mayor Pete cheated during the Iowa Caucus.
- Remember, kids, Mayor Pete’s campaign is the only campaign that gave a not inconsiderable sum of money to Shadow, the company that developed the reporting app Democrats were supposed to use last night.
Shadow was also contracted by the Nevada Democrat Party to provide the same support they were supposed to provide in Iowa.
I’m guessing the Nevada caucus is going to be just as lit as Iowa’s.
