Epstein Autopsy Finds Evidence of Possible Strangulation

Will the authorities continue to claim that Epstein committed suicide, or will they admit he was murdered? The more information that comes out in the press, the worse they look for continuing to insist Epstein killed himself. There seems to be less and less evidence for suicide:

An autopsy found that financier Jeffrey Epstein sustained multiple breaks in his neck bones, according to two people familiar with the findings, deepening the mystery about the circumstances around his death.

Among the bones broken in Epstein’s neck was the hyoid bone, which in men is near the Adam’s apple. Such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject. But they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation, the experts said.

The details are the first findings to emerge from the autopsy of Epstein, a convicted sex offender and multimillionaire in federal custody on charges of sex trafficking. He died early Saturday morning after guards found him hanging in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan and he could not be revived.

People familiar with the autopsy, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitive stage of the investigation, said Sampson’s office is seeking additional information on Epstein’s condition in the hours before his death. That could include video evidence of the jail hallways, which may establish whether anyone entered Epstein’s cell during the night he died; results of a toxicology screening to determine if there was any unusual substance in his body; and interviews with guards and inmates who were near his cell.

The fact that no one has checked yet whether his cell was entered, and that authorities have not yet seized and reviewed videos of the time of the incident, instead leaving the medical examiner to play detective and try to locate and obtain this information, is astonishing.

Well, it is astonishing if you think the authorities weren’t themselves involved.

At this point, I think it’s pretty fair to turn the tables on media figures calling the belief that Epstein was murdered a “conspiracy theory” and ask them to produce actual evidence that he committed suicide. Virtually all media reports – panicked screaming from his cell, the injuries being consistent with strangulation, and the medical examiner having to look for video evidence that may not have been reviewed by anyone else in authority – suggest that a murder took place, not suicide.

Ghislaine Maxwell was also found in Los Angeles yesterday… and she was reading a book entitled  “The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths of CIA Operatives.” Anyone remember Acosta’s comments about Epstein “belonging to intelligence?”
