My fellow citizens,
Today Congressman Elijah Cummings said to President Trump – “Come to Baltimore. Do not just criticize us, but come to Baltimore and I promise you, you will be welcomed.”
God has placed this opportunity in your path at this pivotal moment.
Now is the time for great leaders of faith to breakthrough the roadblocks that prevent our country from moving forward.
Now is your time. God has called you.
Do not allow this moment in history it pass you by.

Today Congressman Cummings invited you to Baltimore. He is asking you to put the country’s money where your mouth is. I say that with all respect and in the best traditions of an East Coast negotiating style.
You must go.
Today could be the pivotal moment that begins to move our country forward and out of the moral deadlock in which we found ourselves.
To that end, I have also written the leaders of the National Cathedral, who recently criticized you, to have the moral authority and the courage to bring together both sides of our government.
But more than just visiting, the country looks to you to provide “the plan.” I would encourage you and Congressman Cummings to agree on three things that you can both champion for the good of Baltimore and for the country.
This is the opportunity, Mr. President, that many of us have hoped and prayed for and that God has laid at your feet. Please pick it up show how both sides have the same interests in making our country and our cities great again.
