YouTube has long had a problem with pedophiles and other unsavory types exploiting its algorithm to do harm to children. Last year’s Elsagate controversy is one of the most recent examples of the danger children can experience using the world’s most popular video platform.

While independent media had gotten wind of this problem several weeks ago, the story never took off among the mainstream media. The recent #VoxAdpocalypse sucked all the air out of the room.
Was this by design? Is YouTube using the #VoxAdpocalypse to cover up an even greater scandal?
