Ilhan Omar is boring

Haters gonna hate

So Ilhan Omar’s vileness temporarily made The Big News this week.

Ilhan Omar is boring.

Everybody knows (except Nanzi Pelosi, I guess) that Omar is a CAIR puppet, long-know to be an anti-Semite, an Islamist apologist and a progressive darling in a hijab.

She won MN-CD5 (the entire City of Minneapolis and some sorry-ass first-ring suburbs) by a 78% – 22% margin last November.

How stunning was her victory?

The rotting corpse of Charles Manson mighta polled near 80% with a DFL behind his name but why quibble: it was never gonna be closer than 50% on a good day for the GOP.

Omar was fast-tracked by the DFL Progressive caucus which runs this town because she trounced Ol’ Phyllis Kahn (44 years in the state legislature – ugh) an election cycle ago in 2016.

It was the Young Muslim from Little Mogadishu versus the Old Jewish Lady from snooty Prospect Park.

Since then the CD5 seat has been dealed and sealed.

All it took was for incumbent Keith Ellison to move onto the state auditor’s job and Omar was in like, well, Flynn (but that’s probably a tad too Irish Catholic a cliche.)

That Omar would eventually Step In It is no surprise.

The blogging heads over at Powerline have been chronicling Omar’s exploits for years to no avail, The Narrative must be maintained.

This succinct point from Scott Johnson nails it:

The truth is, Omar is almost 40 years old, and she’s being handled like a child. Her anti-Semitism is in keeping with her worldview. It’s no more susceptible to dialogue than is Bernie Sanders’s socialism.

The local press has been enraptured by Omar since the get-go; she is to be protected, coddled, run interference for and excused.

As Uncle Jack said to Towheaded Todd:”The heart wants what the heart wants, right?”

And the DFL “hearts” Ilhan Omar…

Bruno Strozek

Written by Bruno Strozek

Bruno Strozek is the author of occasionally semi-coherent piffle and has been a Writer/Editor at Sparta Report since July 2016.

Strozek, along with his alter-egos the decadent, drug-addled Sixties refugee Uncle Bruno and his intolerably feminist SJW Cousin Brunoetta have been riding the not-yet crested wave of deplorability with posts covering politics, sports, entertainment and zombies.

Aptly described as both "hilarious and deeply disturbed" Strozek has enthusiastically embraced the recommendation of the late Raoul Duke that "when the going gets weird the weird turn pro."

Although he has fallen far short of his bucket-list goal of writing for such respectable rags as The National Enquirer and The Weekly World News Strozek is grateful for the opportunity to pen his unhinged screeds at Sparta Report and is constantly amazed and delighted at the reception his pieces receive in the cements.
