I think I was right that President Trump did the Game of Thrones meme for one and only purpose — he wanted to start a direct dialogue with Iran. It also looks like it was to start a dialogue with one man in particular — General Qasem Soleimani, chief of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
Look at this guy’s Instagram page!
President Trump continues to amaze me. He absolutely knew that General Qasem Soleimani could not resist meme-ing back!
In July, when President Trump started to saber rattle about sanctions, General Solemani said
“As a soldier, it is my duty to respond to Trump’s threats. If he wants to use the language of threat, he should talk to me, not to the president,”
And so President Trump has and General Solemani responded in kind. You can go see for yourself, if you’re so inclined, how the MSM is completely oblivious to what’s going on right before our eyes. General Solemani has said “I’m listening, what you do want?”
How President Trump meme’s back will be hugely interesting. My friends, we are watching history playing out right before our eyes and is the stuff that will be taught years from now in school. Assuming of course, Trump isn’t impeached! 🙄
So what should President Trump meme back?
My guess would be a likeness of President Trump perhaps standing as equals across a battlefield in a Game of Thrones-esque manner weapons with weapons lowered. Along with a howling, barking, “mad” dog by his side.
The President is much more patient with this kind of meme-war than I am and it wouldn’t surprise me that he’d let the meme-war go on for several months as he did with Kim Jung Un. And then he’ll say “I think I really like General Solemani and he’s someone I could do a deal with.” And at that point, I could see him dispatching General Mattis to speak with him.
Who knows? Meme-wars may actually become a thing and whoever memes the best is declared the victor. I think I like that.
