This is how hard ball is played in President Trump’s world. The president extended an offer to have an interview with the special counsel’s team to Special Counsel Robert Mueller. This was sent through his newest attack dog lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who was told by Mueller that the offer from President Trump was not going to be taken up.
Rudy Giuliani confirms to NBC News that special counsel Robert Mueller rejected a Trump-team offer for the president to answer written questions in lieu of a sit-down interview. Giuliani says this happened about 10 days ago during his first meeting with Mueller.

Trump extended the offer, he got his hand slapped, and now the gloves have come off.
The guillotines are going to start coming down around Mueller’s people. Was this a warning shot to the Mueller team?
Let us also look back at these very odd — and maybe prophetic — tweets from Donald Trump:
Weiner is gone, Spitzer is gone – next will be lightweight A.G. Eric Schneiderman. Is he a crook? Wait and see, worse than Spitzer or Weiner
It’s Tuesday. @AGSchneiderman is wearing Revlon eyeliner today. Governor Cuomo alerted all to this.
Now fast forward to the present and see what Trump was alluding to, Tanya Selvaratnam was choked, beat, and threatened with death for nearly a year by the Attorney General.
“I was scared what he might do if I left him,” she says. “He had said he would have to kill me if we broke up, on multiple occasions. He also told me he could have me followed and could tap my phone.” Who else lived in New York and had his phones tapped?
“She told me that her boyfriend of a year, Eric Schneiderman, the Attorney General of New York, has been choking, beating, and threatening her for the entirety of their relationship, and that several times he threatened to have her killed if she ever tried to leave him. She said he knows that she has a lot of really damning information about him, his alcoholism, sexual deviance, and drug use, and she worries about her safety,” said friend of Selvaratnam’s and writer Danzy Senna in an interview with the New Yorker.
The Mueller Connection
Why is this a shot by President Trump at Mueller? The special counsel was working closely with the Attorney General of New York to coordinate the Paul Manafort case. They shared evidence and were concocting schemes to charge Manafort with a crime in the state of New York if President Trump were to pardon any federal crimes that arose from the Mueller investigation:
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team is working with New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman on its investigation into Paul Manafort and his financial transactions, according to several people familiar with the matter.
The cooperation is the latest indication that the federal probe into President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman is intensifying. It also could potentially provide Mueller with additional leverage to get Manafort to cooperate in the larger investigation into Trump’s campaign, as Trump does not have pardon power over state crimes.
The two teams have shared evidence and talked frequently in recent weeks about a potential case, these people said. One of the people familiar with progress on the case said both Mueller’s and Schneiderman’s teams have collected evidence on financial crimes, including potential money laundering.
A Soros Link too!
And of course, what good, high level Democrat doesn’t have a George Soros link?
Schneiderman headed up a lawsuit against Donald Trump after Trump announced his run for president. He alleged that Donald Trump scammed Trump University participants out of tens of thousands of dollars. Donald Trump counter-sued Schneiderman personally.
Alex Soros met with Schneiderman to congratulate him on all his efforts against Donald Trump:
On his instagram page, Soros states that it was “great to meet with” Erich Schneiderman because he recognized that Donald Trump “was a fraud” and has “courageously taken him on.”
Alex Soros has massive connections with the Democrat party, having met with all of the leadership, including former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Who is Next on the List?
There is a target rich environment in the ways President Trump can squeeze Mueller. The current FISA judge and U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras was to the court in May of 2016 —who signed off on the wiretap warrants to spy on members of the Trump campaign and transition team— would be a juicy catch for the administration.
Contreras presided over a December 2017 hearing where former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about his contacts with Russia. According to a court filing, he is no longer handling the case.
Judge Contreras is an Obama appointee.
Court spokeswoman Lisa Klem did not say why Contreras was recused, and added that the case was randomly reassigned.
The judge has also been linked, in some of the texts released from the Lisa Page- Peter Strzok cache, where they reveal that Contreras is Strzok’s friend.
Update: Corrected the name for Cohen.
