BREAKING: Daytona Beach Airport Evacuated Due to Bomb Threat

Per the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Daytona Beach International Airport was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat.

Apparently, a male suspect is already in custody. The person entered the airport, made some threats, and then began approaching planes. The police have sent in a bomb disposal unit and are searching the premises with K-9s.

No other real information is available yet.

John Greenwood entered @FlyDAB restroom, made hole in a wall, inserted a backpack. Came out naked, climbed onto baggage carousel, where deputies took him into custody. He claimed a bomb was about to go off. Airport cleared by Bomb Units/K-9. Full story at
