President Donald Trump took to Twitter moments ago to post a tweet to his account, which now has over 51 million followers, that misspelled ‘counsel.’
“James Comey illegally leaked classified documents to the press in order to generate a Special Council? Therefore, the Special Council was established based on an illegal act? Really, does everybody know what that means?” Trump said in the tweet.
James Comey illegally leaked classified documents to the press in order to generate a Special Council? Therefore, the Special Council was established based on an illegal act? Really, does everybody know what that means?
Media organizations will dutifully report the tweet in order to highlight that Trump misspelled the word, yet again, playing directly into his hands. He has made the mistake a total of three times at least, according to the Inquisitr, which dedicated an entire article to his spelling mistakes:
United States President Donald Trump has been criticized time and again for the things he says on social media. A number of times, he’s been blasted for his Twitter typos. Numerous Twitter users and personalities such as TV host Jimmy Kimmel, a staunch Trump critic, didn’t waste any time lambasting the president for his latest spelling snafu.
The most evident mistake in the tweet is the use of the word “council” instead of “counsel,” which Trump did three times. That wasn’t the only typographical error, however, as the original tweet also misspelled “whether” and repeated the word “the.” Trump edited his original tweet by correcting the two latter errors but still failed to spell “counsel” right.
An example of one of the president’s earlier tweets:
“Special Council is told to find crime, whether a crime exists or not. I was opposed to the selection of Mueller to be Special Council. I am still opposed to it. I think President Trump was right when he said there never should have been a Special Council appointed because there was no probable cause for believing that there was any crime, collusion or otherwise, or obstruction of justice!” So stated by Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz.”
Trump, by giving the media something they can devote their petty and insignificant fixation on “mistakes” made by the President, will get his broader message out to the general public: setting the stage for the special counsel to be fired.
He has deliberately misspelled “counsel” now several times, once is a mistake, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern, and in my opinion, more than three times is a strategy.
His tweet to 51 million followers will now be spread around the world, with lefties retweeting it to each other while laughing and mocking the misspelled word… gaining the original message even more exposure. The message that the special counsel is illegitimate and needs to be removed.
Therefore, the Special Council was established based on an illegal act? Really, does everybody know what that means?
He asks the audience to come to their own conclusion, after he establishes that the special counsel was established on illegality. What will the audience think about after reading the tweet? That he misspelled “counsel,” or that the “Special Council” is illegal?
