Authorities are in the process of investigating a possible shooting outside of the entrance to the NSA headquarters. There are few details right now, but footage from the scene seems to show a black SUV that had crashed into a barricade. There appear to be bullet holes in the windshield:

There are few details at this time, however, we do know that there is at least one suspect in custody. Anne Arundel County police and fire department have both stressed that they are not the lead agencies in the investigation. It is likely that NSA law enforcement has taken the lead instead.
It is not known at this time whether the shooting is connected to the NSA itself or any of its personnel. This is a developing story. Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: Potentially three people shot
BREAKING NEWS: Three people may have been shot, and one is in custody near the NSA headquarters in Anne Arundel County, ABC News reports. This is a developing story. WTOP has a reporter headed to the scene. https://t.co/eQQQupvGLj pic.twitter.com/nUSJVM5yjM

The FBI is currently investigating the incident as well. However, NSA law enforcement and the FBI have said the threat is contained and there are no ongoing security concerns.
As someone pointed out earlier, this isn’t the first time such an incident has happened outside NSA headquarters. One person was killed and another was shot when a stolen SUV refused to obey orders from NSA police when they approached the gate. The two had apparently stolen the SUV from a man who had picked them up at a motel for a party.
