Dr. Marshall’s latest tweet as of a few minutes ago appears to be written by his wife Laina:

Amtrak has released a statement saying, “an Amtrak train came into contact with a vehicle that was on the tracks at 11:20 AM in Crozet, Virginia. There are no reported injuries to passengers or crew members. Local law enforcement is investigating the incident and crews are inspecting the equipment for damage.”

The train carrying the Republican members of Congress was on the way to White Sulphur Springs in West Virginia. The members were to attend a retreat at the Greenbriar from Wednesday through Friday.

UPDATE
The driver of the truck was killed. Another man on the truck was airlifted to the hospital. A third man was uninjured.
