Texas Antifa Group Incites Violence Against Police
Another day, another incitement to violence by Antifa:
An Antifa student group at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) has proposed that “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” be rebranded as “Law Enforcement Incineration Day.”
“Instead of #LawEnforcementAppreciationDay how about #LawEnforcementIncinerationDay,” the group Autonomous Student Network (ASN) Austin tweeted on January 9, accompanied by a photo of a policeman engulfed in flames.
ASN Austin describes itself on its Facebook page as “an organization that seeks to promote student autonomy through direct action tactics.”
“We are dedicated to the complete abolition of all systems of domination and hierarchy. We stand absolutely against white supremacy, settler colonialism, cisheteropatriarchy, ableism, the state, and capitalism as systems which organize violent and hierarchical relationships between social groups,” the group declares.
ASN Austin’s graphic proclaims that the police “kill and rob” oppressed peoples while protecting “white supremacist capitalism” as it endeavors to “exploit and repress” those same oppressed peoples, asking, “So, why are there so many police sympathizers?”
I shouldn’t have to read about this stuff on sites like Campus Reform either. Where is the NYT? Reuters? The Washington Post? They’re nowhere to be found, because they don’t want the general public to know that a liberal group many of these reporters secretly agree with are a bunch of violent thugs who beat people in the streets for fun and entertainment.
I’d demand a police crackdown on antifa, but I know that there’s no chance of that happening either.
