Baghdad Blues #8
“From, Within, About”
When writing essays, reports, news – or even such things as travel exposes – the general idea is to have a point. That is, one presents an argument, or purpose, or complaint (or simply a statement of “facts”) and then proceeds to attempt to convince the reader. At least, that’s how I understood the notion of good writing – even poetry – during all of those classes in high school and at the fancy Ivy League university I attended in New York back in the day, before someone hit me in the head with a wrench and I determined that I would work in the education business.
Yes, yes, yes…I can already hear the keen minds of the Sparta Crew asking, “Yeah, PMD – but what the fuck does all of that have to do with Baghdad and that strange subtitle…From, Within, About?” Bear with me.
See, the thing is that, writing from Baghdad pretty well tells the reader what they already know. It’s a shithole. It’s dangerous, bordering on insane, just to find oneself here – for whatever reason. Never mind that one ought to be able to make a point about shitholes that is somewhat interesting besides that, generally, shitholes are full of shit and that’s about it. One avoids them and goes elsewhere. Never mind all that – the thing is that writing about the from can easily cancel out the about and the within; that is, writing about the idiocy and stupidity of a country and people consumed by the Horrors of Islam (from the point of view of a guy telling the tales from within) is pretty-nigh impossible to do so by making interesting points, only.
And so, one is consigned to merely describe and observe, and let the reader make his/her own arguments.
The clarity is beginning to come as to how, actually, Islam corrupts and destroys everything everywhere it is practiced, sooner or later. And the reason is the fatalism that is at the bottom of it all – the InShallah fatalism. The same results are found in Mexico, where a deep apathy and fatalism have bored into the Mexicans’ souls as a result of hundreds of years of the Spanish Boot at their necks and subsequent centuries of rank, complete corruption from the top down. Poverty is found in both cultures with astonishing regularity. Filth, incompetence, apathy and laziness are common in both. A profound – and false – sense of entitlement and victim-status is ubiquitous among the inhabitants of both peoples. That is why these “attributes” follow the Mexicans into the USA and Islam’s followers carry the fatalistic filth of Mohammed wherever they go and wherever Islam takes root. In short – Muslims are lazy, stupid and incompetent. Mexicans are pretty much of the same quality (I can speak from experience and authority, having spent several years teaching in Mexico and speaking fluent Spanish, to this day.)
As I said, filth is a hallmark of Islam. In Baghdad, where I “live,” there is no trash collection. I would not lie to you. I write from within the mess. “What do they do with their garbage”, you ask. The people simply take it across the street into a hectare-sized “empty” lot and toss it out there. One sees cows “feeding” on the refuse every day and black-clad Muslima picking through it for scraps right across the street from a girls’ elementary school. Incompetence is too kind a word to use to describe Muslims. Better to just conclude that they are incredibly fucking stupid. It’s the damned praying all of the time and the injection of the mush that is the Koran over decades that has made them all so damned slow. They simply cannot think things through. They will pay the white American gobs of money to make sure their kids get a good education, but will burn plastic in the fron yard where those same kids play after the lessons are done for the day.
What is it about the “teachings” of Islam that destroy its adherents and the land they occupy? Here are some examples, and with these examples, I will conclude this installment and ask the reader to answer his/her own question…”What the fuck does that subtitle have to do with anything?”
“And He taught Adam all the names.”
Allah taught Adam all the names of the plants and animals, which must have taken awhile since there are 1.7 million species that are known today, with probably another 10 million or so that are yet to be discovered. And this only includes those that are alive today. If extinct species are included (~99%), then Allah must have taught Adam a billion or so names. 2:31a
Allah struck Moses with lightning and then revived him just so that Moses would thank him for it! 2:55 – 56
If something good happens to you, it is because of Allah. If something bad happens, it’s your own damned fault. Heads, Allah wins; tails, you lose. 4:78-79
Jesus was not crucified. (It just looked like he was.) 4:157-58
When it’s time to pray and you have just used the toilet or touched a woman, be sure to wash up. If you can’t find any water, just rub some dirt on yourself. 5:6
