The AP is reporting that President Trump will not be campaigning for Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in the wake of decades old allegation of sexual improprieties by the candidate.
White House Legislative Director Marc Short is quoted by the AP as saying “We are uncomfortable with the explanations that Roy Moore has given to date”.
Short went on to say that : “Obviously if he did not believe that the women’s accusations were credible, he would be down campaigning for Roy Moore.”

So, we see that Trump has moved slightly, if his aide is to be believed, from the “if true, Moore should step aside” position to one that appears to say the President does find the charges by the women “credible”.
Look for the Democrat press corps to press Trump and his spokesman in this subtle change in position on Moore.
