No Gun Law Could Have Prevented Sutherland Springs
The shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas was a terrible tragedy. Twenty-seven people are dead, including many children. Nearly half of a church’s entire congregation has been killed. A community will never be the same.
Liberals called for harsher gun laws as soon as the shooting in Sutherland Springs was announced. “Tougher gun laws means we can prevent mass shootings,” they screech. They’re wrong though. There’s not a gun law on the books that would have prevented yesterday’s mass shooting, or any mass shooting for that matter.
I’ll tell you why, and what really needs to be done:
