BCA investigators get warrant to examine Mohamed Noor’s phone amid preparations for Justine Damond’s Memorial Service tonight

Two breaking news stories related to the shooting of Justine Damond by Somali killer cop Mohamed Noor.

The Minnesota BCA has requested a warrant be issued to examine the contents of Noor’s phone:

The warrant also reveals that Noor, who is accused of shooting and killing Damond, has still not provided a statement to BCA investigators. Harrity has spoken to the BCA.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Justine Damond is planned for this evening at the Lake Harriet bandshell in south Minneapolis:

The life of Justine Damond, 40, will be celebrated Friday night at Lake Harriet Band Shell in southwest Minneapolis.

Damond was fatally shot by Officer Mohamed Noor on July 15 after she called 911 to report hearing a possible sexual assault near her home.

Those attending are encouraged to honor Justine Damond by wearing blue, one of her favorite colors. The memorial will end with a silent walk around Lake Harriet.
