Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly’ hit a new ratings low on NBC over the weekend, with the show’s total viewers declining for the third straight week.
MeAgain interviewed, JD Vance, a 32 year old venture capitalist and author of the best selling book, ‘Hillbilly Elegy’. (No, have not read it, nor will I.)
As expected, MeAgain’s ratings went down, down and down for the third week in a row. This time, she not only lost to a 60 Minutes rerun, but she also lost to reruns of ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos’. This is just pathetic now.
3.41 million viewers tuned in to see MeAgain, down from 3.5 million who watched her with Alex Jones the week before. 96% of the viewers were ones who did watch the previous week, suggesting that this may be close to her floor. (This is even more likely in that this show did not receive the intense pre-show coverage that the Jones show had.
This coming Sunday, due to the July 4th holiday, she will not be on the air. The following week, she will return until Sunday Night Football begins in Sep. Future guests include: Chicago Cubs coach and World Series victor Joe Maddon, former Spirits Airline CEO Ben Baldanza, and ballerina Michaela DePrince.
NBC producers claim that they knew it would take years to build an audience, not weeks as with other shows. In other words, MeAgain will not be on the air long with this show.
Another bad night with JB Vance means ill winds for MeAgain’s weekday show in the autumn. Vance would be the type of interviewee that she would want to do, and if this one pulled such low numbers, then weekdays would be no better.
The question is: “Who will MeAgain blame for her dismal showing this time?” She never accepts blame for anything, instead finding the fault with others. This time will be no different.
MeAgain does have an option to improve her image. She can go to Penthouse or Hustler and do a more revealing photo spread, this time without any clothes on. Of course, only pervs will buy a copy.
Or, MeAgain can go on “The View”. She would fit perfectly there, but that would require ABC buying out her contract, and who wants a $17.5 million “loser”?
Well, guess she can co-anchor with Rachel Madcow. With similar hair styles, they are a perfect fit…………(may be in more ways than we know.)
In the meantime, we do know that Megyn is “bleeding ratings” from everywhere.
