Ann Coulter is coming on April 27th whether they officially let her in or not. She’s probably going to create another riot like Milo Yiannopoulos did back earlier this year.
The publicly funded college knows they cannot deny her a speaking position since it was obvious that they were attempting to make her visit so odious that she would drop out. So they obviously reconsidered and tried to get her to come back on May 2nd instead of her original date on the 27th of April. And Ann Coulter’s reply was one that surprised literally no one: she denied the request to change the date.
The Berkeley college administrators must have forgot they were talking to Ann Coulter, who’s fear of the crybullies on the left has been nonexistent for years.:
Officials at the University of California at Berkeley on Thursday reversed their decision to cancel a speech by conservative firebrand Ann Coulter.
The university had previously announced Wednesday that it was canceling Coulter’s appearance following several political protests in Berkeley that turned violent. But on Thursday, the university said it had found a venue where it could hold the speech on a different day, May 2, instead of the original April 27 date.
Coulter and the group arranging her event said they are rejecting the new invitation.
In a series of tweets Thursday night, Coulter criticized the university, saying Berkeley officials were adding “burdensome” conditions to her speech. She said she had already spent money to hold the event on the original April 27 date and is not available May 2. She also pointed out that May 2 would coincide with a reading period before final exams, when there are no classes on campus and a fewer students around.
And she vowed that she is going to speak in Berkeley on the originally planned April 27 date, whether the university approved or not.
Coulter was on Hannity last night and slammed the leftwing would be rioters as beta males:
“[N]one of this has to do with security,” she said. “After acceding to all their requirements, which were also arbitrary and silly, and they claimed it was on the basis of safety, I suggested two measures that actually would allow free speech to exist on Berkeley if they wanted it to. And that was one thing to announce that any students caught engaging in violence, mayhem, or disrupting an invited speaker’s speech would be expelled. And number two, to have a little talk with the Berkeley chief of police, who is allowing these Rodney King riots to go on whenever conservative speaker speaks.”
“I mean, it is anarchy when you are only enforcing the law in order to allow liberals to speak,” she continued. “But, no, we’ll let these masked rioters show up with weapons and start — I mean, they are all little beta males, but with a weapon, even a beta male can do some damage, especially to a 99-pound girl. To have them stepping in, those private individuals, according to courts, are acting under color of state law. And for the police to refuse to protect even offensive speech and by the way, and I’m the author of 12 New York Times best-sellers. This has damaged my reputation for them to be acting like I’m David Duke out there. But courts have found, even somebody out burning an American flag, the police cannot stand by and let skinheads beat them up. That is viewpoint discrimination. And they are all liable.”
