Obama & The Deep State: Governance in the Wilderness

A long, long time ago, in The Days Before Trump (TDBT), the Party of the Opposition (such as it was) was known as the GOP(e).

Their purpose as the Party of the Opposition was to go along to get along; it was How The Game Was Played, and everybody knew The Rules and who the Keepers of Power really were.

But then, predictability to some but unpredicted by most, Herbert Stein’s Law that “if something cannot go on forever it won’t” applied itself and suddenly that particular something didn’t.

On January 20 (more likely actually starting the morning after the election) The Party of the Opposition morphed into The Party of the Resistance.

And Governance In the Wilderness began in earnest.

A bit of background:

A number of years ago, during a spate of mass arrests of “insurgents” in Saudi Arabia, a then-new book by Sheik Abu-Bakar al Naji (al Qaeda’s lead warfare theorist), Governance of the Wilderness (Edarat al-Wahsh), was found in safe houses. The main focus of Naji’s theory focused on creating a triad of resistance that would be effective against a larger and more traditionally powerful enemy.

Naji’s trifecta in a nutshell:

  • System disruption. Create a loose cadre of like minded actors to launch countless small operations that target traditional sources of infrastructure to weaken the establishment and create a political Wilderness.
  • Temporary autonomous zones (TAZ) and primary loyalties.  True believers in the Wilderness must create parallel societies alongside existing ones. The mass migration of “refugees” flooding Europe is an excellent operational example of the TAZ principle in action
  • Avoid control of the state. Do not set up “formal” governments, which would be subject to pressure or  attack.  Establish a “guerrilla environment” that taxes the resources of The Establishment without exposing the TAZ to significant risk or reprisal. Think “no go zones” in France and Sweden as primary examples of the TAZ as a functional Wilderness employing a shadow alternative to traditional systems.

The theory behind the Governance in the Wilderness and the idea of TAZ’s was predicated on the idea that The Resistance would not have the support of major institutional infrastructure such as media, fundraising and access to the tools of governmental obstructionism within the established order.

But then a strange and horrible thing happened:  Sheik Abu-Bakar al Naji met Saul Alinsky.

Say hello to one Barack Hussien Obama – the Leader of the Resistance and the titular President in Exile currently residing in the Democrat Party’s Temporarily Autonomous Zone.

The map of the Blue Archipelago:

Sanctuary cities, No Go Zone’s for MAGA headgear, islands of liberal fascism hostile to Any Outside Truth not certified kosher by the Mullahs of Political Correctness.

You get the picture.

The Loyal Opposition (and some of the formerly Loyal Non-Opposition too) has transmogrified into The Resistance.

And these New Bitter Clingers are in for The Long March.

It’s the Worst of All Possible Scenarios for Team Trump and the Deplorables because the Machinery of the Pre-Existing Globalist World Order is now at the disposal of The New Liberal Caliphate.

What an ironic reversal of roles: Trump & Co., who so successfully ran an insurgency campaign, are now facing an well organized and well financed domestic political counter-revolution.

Here’s hoping El Donaldo has some good political war-gamers on board for developing and applying counter-insurgency strategy and tactics.

The Ugly is just getting started.
