Commenting at Sparta Report

We understand this is a political blog and things will get heated sometimes, and we’d prefer not to behave in a heavy-handed way.

In most cases, users can expect at least one clear warning if we think things are getting out of hand, and a polite requests to cool off. Past a certain point, we will have to remove some continually disruptive users.

The Rules

No death threats or doxing of other users.

No spamming of goods and services. These comments will be deleted and the user will likely be banned. This includes charity links unless cleared with moderators first (Fossten, NWC, Doomberg, etc).

We understand that the conversation evolves as issues are discussed and debated, but way off topic comments and comments that do not add value for a particular article, such as reposting information already present within the article, will likely be removed.

If it would get you kicked out of most bars, it will likely get you kicked out of here.

I am Doomberg, one of the original founding members of Sparta Report, and have been here since the beginning. I am an insatiable news junkie and enjoy reading and writing about the US territories, the Caribbean, video games, smartphones, and of course conservative politics in general.

I also really like pictures of gas stations and claim full responsibility for the silly gas station motif. I'm presently trapped behind enemy lines in a blue state with no hope of escape! The ride never ends.
